Business Philosophy
Focusing on quality, Phil Ellison, owner and Master Designer of Quagmire Solutions, has made it his personal mission solve the many technical quagmires of his clients. Known as one of the best web designers and technology consultants throughout the state, Phil prides himself on ensuring that each client is personally cared for.
Phil’s History
A member of one of the first true computer generations, Phil was fascinated by these intricate machines from a very young age. As the oldest child of five from the small, rural, community of Hemlock, Michigan, Ellison immediately took to computers, though they remained scarce throughout the community.
 By the time Phil reached high school, he was a proficient typist and member of the growing Internet fan club, and remained fascinated by the now common addition to the work place. Finding a unique talent for web design, Phil was made Webmaster of his high school, which led him to further develop his skill in computers and Internet activities. It was from this virtually self-taught computer education that Phil founded Quagmire Solutions in 2000.
Born from a long line of entrepreneurs, Phil quickly took to his own small business and began to develop a proficient web-based company utilizing a quality system of web design and computer work. After Phil graduated from high school, he continued on his computer crusade as Webmaster for Lake Superior State University in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan.
Currently, Phil has just completed his Master’s degree in Business from Central Michigan University.

Phil’s clients consists of businesses from a wide variety of industries and sectors including transportation, rental, service-oriented, entertainment, tourism, and even dog breeding.
